Today I decided to try drinking one glass of water in the morning when I wake up. Actually it is two glasses of water – 16 oz.

Health experts say, “One of the best things you can do after you wake up: drink at least 16oz (500mL) of water. Water fires up your metabolism, hydrates you, helps your body flush out toxins, gives your brain fuel, and may even make you eat less.”

I had read this several times in the past year and wanted to know if I felt anything different. YES. I can really notice a difference and have now made this part of my morning ritual.

Also, “helping your body flush out toxins” means you will not get sick as often. I have always known this to be true for me when I drink lots of water during the day.
